Psalm 121:7 The Lord will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; (NIV) You are never alone. You are never out of God’s sight. Any thought you think, any feeling you feel, and any action you take is viewed by God. You can do nothing that is unseen by God. Of all the wealth sought after and stored up by the world, being watched over by God is the real wealth of life. Because you are watched over by God, the essence of who you are (no matter how much you hurt) will be watched over and kept in the palm of God’s hand. The part of you that someday goes to heaven will never ever be hurt. The part of you that loves the Lord will be kept safe for eternity. Your body may ache and hurt. Your mind may be full of worry, doubt, fear, and dread. Your life may be ravaged by temptations you resist. However, if you put your heart toward the Lord, there is a part of you the Lord will not let fall into the pit. This instant, this very instant as you read these words, the evil claw of Satan may be reaching up to you to pull you down into the fiery outer darkness. However, there are also saving hands reaching down from Heaven to save you. There are great and wonderful nail-scarred saving hands of Christ, reaching down to you this instant. Christ is calling you this instant to reach up and grasp His hand to find His power. Christ is calling you to reach up and take His hand to find His healing touch.
